The City of Papillion is now accepting initial redevelopment proposals for the City-owned parcels within the Downtown Redevelopment Area. The deadline for proposals to be submitted is 4 p.m. on December 14, 2018.
The Papillion City Council has declared an area of downtown Papillion as blighted and substandard. The declaration includes three City-owned properties and two private properties. The declaration allows potential redevelopment in the area to utilize tax increment financing (TIF) to assist with public improvements associated with a project.
The redevelopment area includes the former Papillion Public Works building, former Papillion Public Works administration offices (temporarily being used by the Recreation Department), Papillion Fire Department Station #3, and two private properties. See below for more images of the properties in the redevelopment area.
