Fire Safety Camp

The Papillion Fire Department's Fire Safety Camp is free and open to all Papillion and La Vista residents ages 6 to 12. Campers will learn about the job of a firefighter, fire safety and basic first aid. Campers will also enjoy a number of games and fun activities.

  • Half-day camp for children 6 to 8 years old: July 25, 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m or 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. 
  • Full-day camp for children ages 9 to 12 years old: July 26, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Please Note: Applications must be received by June 7. Enrollment by June 7 does not guarantee a space for your child, but due to limited space, we can only accept applicants who enroll by this deadline.

ATTENTION PARENTS: Campers will also need a signed Medical and Liability Release Form returned to the Papillion Fire Department Station 1 (10727 Chandler Rd. in La Vista) before the start of camp. A scanned copy of the release form can also be uploaded to the online application above.
