Update March 18th, 2020:

The City of Papillion Parks and Recreation Department has modified operations due to COVID-19 in order to slow the spread of coronavirus and protect the vulnerable populations in our community, effective immediately.

COMMUNITY RECREATION CENTER: The Papillion Landing Community Recreation Center is closed until further notice. All programs and rentals have been canceled or rescheduled.

FIELD HOUSE: The Papillion Landing Field House is closed until further notice. Al programs and rentals have been paused, canceled or rescheduled.

OUTDOOR RENTALS AND PROGRAMS: All recreation programs, facility rentals, leagues and events will be postponed or canceled through April 30, 2020. (Please check future updates as additional cancellations may extend beyond April 30, 2020.)

PARKS: Most park restrooms are closed until further notice. Halleck Park Large Pavilion, City Park and First Street Plaza restrooms remain open at this time; however these are subject to close at any time from this point forward. City parks and trails are open. We recommend using public parks in a manner where social distancing is possible. At this time, we discourage the use of playgrounds as it is not practical to sanitize all the city park equipment on a regular basis.

PAPIO BAY AQUATIC CENTER: Season pass presale will take place from May 1 – 15, 2020. Swim lesson registration will begin on April 1, 2020 through on-line registration or by phone only.

PAPILLION RACE SERIES: The 2020 Papillion Half Marathon, scheduled for May 17, 2020, will be rescheduled, date is to be determined.

PAPILLION ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT: The 2020 Easter Egg Hunt scheduled for April 4, 2020, has been cancelled.

SUMMER PROGRAM REGISTRATION: Online summer program registration will still begin on April 1st. Refunds will be issued if future programs are canceled due to COVID-19. Some program start dates may be delayed.
