1. Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Papillion will hold a meeting on the 21st day of  March, 2017, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046.  This meeting will be open to the public.  An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and is available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk. Requests for any special accommodations should be made to the City Clerk at least forty eight hours prior to the time of the meeting.

2. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion will hold public hearings on the 21st day of March, 2017, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046 to consider:

RES. #R17-0045 – A Comprehensive Plan Amendment to amend the Future Land Use Map for the Walnut Creek Lake Sub-Area. The Sub-Area has a northern boundary of HWY 370, an eastern boundary of 96th Street, a southern boundary of Schram Road, and a western boundary of 108th Street. The applicant is the City of Papillion. (Walnut Creek Lake Sub-Area FLU Map Amendment)

Ordinance No. 1765 – An ordinance to amend § 205-11 of Chapter 205 Zoning, Article II, Development Definitions having to do with the definition of accessory structure; §205-205 of Chapter 205 Zoning, Article XXXIII, Supplemental Use Regulations having to do with maximum permitted sound levels adjacent to residential districts; §205-215(B)(2) of Chapter 205 Zoning, Article XXXIV, Supplemental Site Development Regulations having to do with exceptions to openness of required yards; §205-219 of Chapter 205 Zoning, Article XXXIV, Supplemental Site Development Regulations having to do with principal buildings; §205-220 of Chapter 205 Zoning, Article XXXIV, Supplemental Site Development Regulations having to do with accessory buildings and structures; and § 205-234 of Chapter 205 Zoning, Article XXXV, Landscaping and Screening Regulations having to do with planting requirements; and to provide for an effective date. Ordinance No. 1766 – An ordinance to repeal § 205-211 Wireless Towers in its entirety from Chapter 205 Zoning, Article XXXIII Supplemental Use Regulations, having to do with the regulation of wireless towers; to move and reassign the entirety of Administration and Procedures and all sections thereunder  from Article XXXIX, of Chapter 205 Zoning, to a new Article XL under Chapter 205 Zoning; to move and reassign the entirety of Nonconforming Development and all sections thereunder from Article XXXVIII, of Chapter 205 Zoning, to Article XXXIX under Chapter 205 Zoning; to assign Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Regulations, having to do with the application and permit processes for the placement, construction, and modification of wireless telecommunications facilities, to Article XXXVIII and the sections thereunder, of Chapter 205 Zoning; to recodify Chapter 205 Zoning to update various article and section references to reflect the amendments to Articles XXXIII, XXXVIII, XXXIX, and XL; and to provide for an effective date. The applicant is the City of Papillion. (Wireless Telecommunications Facilities Ordinance)

Ordinance No. 1767 – An ordinance to annex certain Real Estate to the City of Papillion, Nebraska. The applicant is the City of Papillion. The annexation area is legally described as the N1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 25, T14N, R11E of the 6th P.M., together with the west 33.00 feet of the N1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 30, T14N, R11E of the 6th P.M. all in Sarpy County, NE. (2017 Annexation No. 1)

Ordinance No. 1768 – An ordinance to change the official Zoning Map of the City of Papillion in accordance with Section 205-32 of the Papillion Municipal Code to include parcels and areas annexed by Ordinance No. 1767, and to provide for an effective date thereof. The applicant is the City of Papillion.

This meeting will be open to the public. An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk.

3. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion, Nebraska will hold a public hearing on the 21st day of March, 2017, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East 3rd Street, Papillion, NE 68046. The purpose of this hearing is to consider approval of RES. R17-0041 – A resolution to approve a Class “I” Liquor License for Beeck, Wongsen DBA Red Sushi Hibachi, 8419 S 73rd Plaza, #105, Papillion, NE 68046. All persons interested in the actions of this body should be in attendance at this meeting.
