Fall Clean-Up Days:
Fall Clean-Up Days have been scheduled for October 20-23 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day. This event will once again be held just east of our new Public Works facility, located at 9909 Portal Rd. Please click here for additional information, including a list of acceptable items.
Papillion Community Center & City Park Expansion Project:
In order to serve the growing recreational needs of the Papillion community, the Papillion City Council proposed a Parks and Recreation Bond Issue to Papillion voters in the May 2016 primary election. The initiative, which was approved by voters, increases the current local sales and use tax rate from one and one-half percent (1½%) by an additional one-half percent (1/2%), which will be dedicated to funding parks and recreation improvements in Papillion, including a community center among other projects. 2015 Cross-Connection Questionnaire:
The 2015 Cross-Connection Questionnaire that was distributed with the November water bill can now be submitted on line. Click here to complete the form.
#2 Best Place to Live:
Papillion has once again been rated a Best Place to Live by Money magazine. For 2015, Papillion is ranked #2 on the list. More information on the ranking is available here. This is the sixth consecutive time Papillion has made Money’s list since 2005, and the fifth consecutive Top 10 Best Place ranking. Money’s Best Places ratings alternate between big cities and small cities every other year.
